Sweet Iron Ring Centre Bit 12mm

A uniquely redesigned Universal cheek piece that provides greater leverage or poll pressure as well as steering capabilities. The front bar section of this Universal has been removed, thereby stopping bar pressure being applied to the front of the mouth when asking for a turn. In the original Universal designs, when you pulled your rein to the left or the right the front bar of the Universal hit up against the horse's mouth, forcing the horse to point it's nose in the opposite direction to the turn. This lost fluidness in turns as well as sharpness.

The Ring centre applies tongue pressure and is a great bit for horse's that tend to sit on the bit or are a little strong in the hand.
